I have been making custom 1" and 1.25" buttons In Portland, Oregon since 2000 for bands, schools, nonprofits, and other various projects from quantities of a single button to up into the tens of thousands and I am offering my same quality and service on Etsy in magnet form now. These are basically 1" buttons and instead of a pin back they have strong magnets on the back.
What you are getting from me:
50 1" magnets with up to 4 different designs printed with a color safe and water resistant laser printer on 100% post-consumer recycled 28 lb. laser paper, fully assembled and in the mail in between 2-5 day.
What you need to do:
-If you would just like simple words in black and white (or white and black) Let me know the kind of font you are looking for and we can work together to figure it out.
-If you would like to create your own image then the right in the listing images is a template for the buttons. You will need to download that template and work with it as a computer file in a photo editing program. (You could also send me a hard copy and I can scan it if you prefer, it will just take longer.)
-The template is at 72dpi and 5.4" x 5.4" and in a .jpg format for easy e-mailing files. When I work with the design I will up it to 300dpi and shrink it to 1.3".
I do prefer the .tif format because it retains the colors well, but it is not supported by etsy so you would have ot e-mail it. Feel free to e-mail your artwork to me in a .tif format if you are concerned color matching at alex [!at] smallworldbuttons.com
-Keep in mind that the inner circle is just for your design purposes to let you know what will show up on the face of the buttons. Feel free to cover it up, images actually looks best when they carry over into the bleed and tuck into the back of the button. I will need to outer edge so that I know where to cut the image out.
Once you send the artwork back to me, I'll print the art, assemble the buttons and ship them out to you within days.
